Hrm....

hrm... right now it's 2:19 PM and i'm waiting for my English class to start. I got in the English class, even though I dont know whether or not I'm happy. My academic self says, " of course be happy that fulfills the lower division RC requirement". however, my lazy self says: "NNNONOOOO!!! my friday afternoons...." No matter what, now that I'm in the class, everything in there will turn into business as usual. I'm glad, though, that the class only have essay and reading and discussion, and no report or anything. After all, you can't really do report when you read some enlghtment critics. I predict that most essay written will be critquing the validity of the point these old critique are trying to make. I have to buy those books that's required for the class now, now that I'm sure that I'm in it, not 4th spot on the wait list. boo. that's some shelling out of the dough again.

Secondly, I've been thinking about changing my blog layout, therefore I will need to install dreamweaver(i dont know if i have it already) onto my computer and begin to learn more about those functions that html lets u do. Someday hopefully I will be well-versed enough to leave the protection shell of dreamweaver MX and enter into the likes of Tim and Diana (both Dianas I know, for that matter) As you all can see right now, "Quote of the Day" have been moved up right below the title of the page, which i feel is giving a great feel to the blog. at the sametime, I want to use the friendship collage (courtesy of D/Angie) as my background, except I want it a little bit more transparent so it doesn't overshadow all my text and stuff. Changing into a new font is also a top priority, maybe I will employ size 10 from now on, it looks more neat and compact; my sidebar view isn't exactly pleasing to the eyes. The entries I have already learned how to do title from Elise as I have explained. At the same time, I want my tagboad somewhere easy to see where everyone will be able to leave a msg ;p The color of the letters will possible be different, hopefully i can find something nice to complement the collage's partly transparent purpish color. Any suggestions are welcome as well, just leave a msg on the tagboard or a earful here. thx a lot guys/gals!!!

Man I love how Quote of the Day is on the top of the page now. it looks so nice.

Um.... these couple of days as the school start is quite interesting. I ended up taking one more class: English R1A: Critics of Modernity. I don't know if I got in the class or not (I'm fourth on the wait list), but I really have a good chance because my wait list number is 4.

Newayz, the most interesting thing in Berkeley is that in Hearst Annex, where we have our Computer Science lab, the bathrooms there are password encrypted. PASSWORD ENCRYPTED!! Whoever built those stuff must have been very angry with the students to think of such ways to torture us. That's just not right, I'm glad Barrows Hall is right next to the annex so if I really have to I can go there to use the restroom.
I have almost forgotten how much I enjoyed sitting in class and just absorb knowledges there. In the first Englis lecture we started to discuss the definition of "modernity" by thinking up words that are opposite to it. I thought about pre-world war I, but then my wicked sides flipped the switch and I thought of professors. haha ;p
Everyday we go to Crossroad to eat Chinese/oriental food, because they are the only dining hall that have food ne where close to decent home food.... oOo i missed home cooking. I miss you mom! A lot of friends are here, which is school, however, the one with the most problem is no other than William. We reinstalled EVERYTHING on his computer twice because he got hit by a virus once, and the other time he thought he didn't have a ethernet card/socket when in reality he DOES have one (and because of that he kinda reinstalled Windows XP and deleted all the driver...). Today, he asked me what the math hw was, how to turn them in, etc. because he fell asleep in the first lecture. blah

But I like chatting w/ my buddies!!! haha you guys are wonderful. According to Lizzy, u're guys and dolls *big smile*
